Small Town Charm tour - DeLand
Join Jessi for a day in delightful, historic DeLand, an award-winning Florida MainStreet community. We can shop until we drop as we stroll downtown, featuring block after block of historical storefronts, specialty shops, boutiques, antique stores and gift shops. We'll find refreshment along the way by popping into your choice of coffee houses, pubs and wine bars, sidewalk cafes and an array of American and international cuisine. We can take in one of a number of art, science and history museums that are in walking distance of downtown. DeLand is also the home of Stetson University -- it's beautiful campus makes for a lovely walking tour.
Time: 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon
Tour Guide Fee: $100 for up to 3 guests
Actvity level: Light walking. Plenty of rest stops along the way.
Extra costs: Guests will want to bring some pocket money for their own admission fees to attractions, food and beverages, gifts and souveniers.
Transportation: Jessi will pick up and return guests to hotel at designated time.

Here's a great chance to get out and stretch your legs under the shady canopy of Florida's State parks. Choose from Blue Spring State Park, the wintertime retreat of hundreds of manatees; DeLeon Springs State Park, home of the famous Old Spanish Sugar Mill Griddle House; or Hontoon Island State Park, accessible by river ferry and featuring ancient Indian mounds. Whichever site you choose, there will be miles of paved and natural surface trails perfect for hiking and observing native wildlife. Two of these parks also have popular narrated eco-history boat tours. There are some really terrific local parks as well, featuring multi-use trails, picnic and restroom facilities, even a dog park!

Let Jessi be your guide to West Volusia County's best art and historical attractions. And there are plenty to choose from -- I'll customize your tour based on your particular interests. Choose from several museums of fine art, Florida artists, African American art, women artists and local art. We have amazing historical sites ranging from the lavish mansions of our founding fathers to a pioneer village of authentic buidings, a working farm, Indian village, historical school house and old time trades workshops. I'll also suggest popular local art and heritage festivals you might enjoy. We'll stop along the route for refreshments and a delicious meal.
Time: 6-8 hours, Saturday or Sunday as visiting hours permit
